Crash Ride Snare
(Exhibition, 2024-ongoing)

Crash, ride, snare is an exhibition of 24 drummers who are also art makers. An eclectic exhibition encompassing figurative and abstract painting, drawing, video, assemblage, collage, and photography by drummers who are also artists. There is no theme the only link is everyone involved is a percussionist of some sort. Drummer's across the spectrum of music with luminaries from Punk Post-punk and pop such as Palmolive from the Slits June Miles-Kingston of Everything But The Girl and Jimmy Sommerville. Francis Macdonald of Teenage Fanclub and local to Argyll Ross Sinclair who still works with the Soup Dragons and is a prtofessor at Glasgow art School.
Nick Cash has curated and brought together a facinating mix of work with the promise of no drum solos. The exhibition started at Tension Fine Art London in 2023. I joined the touring exhibition in 2024.
IMMAPPANCY
(ART INSTALLATION, 2024)

Immappancy - insufficient geographical knowledge. A multimedia exhibition. This installation examines the human relationships between memory, space, and the beautiful, affirming, yet melancholic, addictive nostalgia that forms in these relationships. Exhibiting at Hope University, Creative Campus, May-July.

Epileptic Auras was a collaboration with Simon Blackmore created for the ‘Remembering Iannis Xenakis’ exhibition, hosted at the Capstone Theatre, Liverpool.
